Sunlite Science & Technology proudly worked with Oliver Electric to provide many of Peaslee Tech’s lighting needs. From classrooms to main walkways and the entrance with color changing RGB LED light fixtures. It was a pleasure to work on a project that will help people have the education they need to expand their horizons and increase the workforce in Lawrence Kansas.

Peaslee Tech is a combined effort by business and industry, the Economic Development Council of Lawrence and Douglas County, City of Lawrence, Douglas County, the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, and Unified School District 497.

This initiative was generated out of the fabric of our community after several decades of recognition that Lawrence lacks technical skills training.

Our future hope—Community leaders will offer a naming right for the campus. This will give the campus an identity, hopefully in its early stage of development. Our identity and brand will be built upon and enhanced, bringing pride to Lawrence for this new dimension of training.

The mission statement is a testament of the commitment to providing an educated workforce in Lawrence and surrounding areas.

We are a catalyst for economic growth providing technical training to a diverse community of learners to meet the current and emerging needs of our communities and employers.

Sunlite provided RGB LED color changing lights for the entrance with white downlights and the common area linear LED lighting. In addition to the offices and a classroom.
